Alright Gentlemen, it’s Time to Man Up!  Auston Woods

Every man should own some tools.  It would be better to use them but you should at least own them.  We are going to list five tools that everyman must have:

5 Tools Every Man Must Have

1.) A Claw Hammer- that’s just your simple average hammer.  Most jobs can be fix with a sturdy pound, if of course, you know where to pound.

2.) Multi-Tool- You can find most boy scouts with one of these.  A multi-tool can normally screw, unscrew, scrape cut, etcetera.

3.)  Vise Grips- A pair vise grips are like a pair of big pliers that offer a sure grip.

4.) A Big Flat Head Screw Driver- This can also act as a hammer in many situations.  But there will be times when big screw jobs come about.  All the rest of the times just throw it at things and it should work.

5.) Grilling Tongs- With a nice pair of grilling tings you can just about replace any other grilling utensil; spatula, wire brush, fork meat Grilling Tongs.

It’s time to celebrate ESPN’s legacy as a sports channel, Welcome to The ESPY Awards.

Since 1993 ESPN has been uplifting the Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards for both teams and individuals for athletic achievement and more.  It’s been a hot topic every year on the ESPY Awards what the best play of year is.  This year the nominees are between:

Reading books is one of my favorite hobbies. When I was young we used to have lots of books around the apartment. I remember just picking books up and reading them. I didn’t have to know the name of it or what is was about. My mom had a library in the basement and I would pick up a book and just flip through the pages reading and looking at pictures. I actually remember that the book shelf was in the same room as the weight bench. Funny, I have more memories of reading than working out on the bench.

Every book that was laying around our apartment I considered mine. If it were a small book or a super huge book I had my hands and eyes on it. So imagine my surprise when I read an article that mentioned in recent studies parents who have books around the apartment typically have smarter children. Yay me! In fact, this was very interesting: allowing for a child to choose 12 summer reading books on their own at the let out of summer vacation is the equivalent of summer school. A study authored by M.D.R. Evans and supporting co-authors found that growing up in a household with 500 or more books is:

“As great an advantage as having university-educated rather than unschooled parents, and twice the advantage of having a professional rather than an unskilled father.”
