The Story of The Young Man Who Didn’t Get It
I’ve been sitting here the whole time waiting for an opportunity to fall into my lap and nothing has happened yet. Is it me? Is it something that I have done to cause this madness to occur in my life? Why is it that every one else brought a date to this dance except for me. I bath ever day, I’m a good guy, I’ve been doing my homework and getting good grades. But still, no date.
Maybe? well, no that’s not it. Could it be? If I would have just asked out at lease one girl then maybe she would have said yes. I could be having fun like every body else.
Why Didn’t He Get The Date He Wanted?
The above story is an illustration of a young boy who clearly did not have a date for his high school dance. But the problem was that with all of the extra curricular activities that he had going for himself he never actually asked out a girl to be his date.
Many of us may be able to relate to his story. The main thing is to make the main thing the main thing. Go back over the story and see if there are things that you can personally identify with. If so, you know what you need to change.
